Hi Weebley, I’m back from the UK. I had a nice peaceful weekend at the cottage with Mac and Joe 90.
The wedding was fabulous, as expected. I’m not sure who was happier, William and Kate, or Queen Elizabeth! There is hope brewing in the UK . . .
Anyway, do you want the good news or the bad news?
OK, I’ll give you the bad news, courtesy of Mac, who embedded the news in the 1100-1200 Hz range:

Now that you have the bad news, at least now you know what you are up against and what to do.
Now the good news. You and Steve now have the time to fully embrace a “database” approach to getting the job in an interactive form, which is right up your alley, since you have been manipulating a complex interactive database for 11 years now.
Here’s a little bicycle clip from Andrew Stott when he had the job a while back:

Unfortunately, he retired.
Did you notice the Microsoft Outlook “Notes” program running on the LCD screens in the background? Very cool.
Martha Lane Fox gave a good speech about the impact of UK citizens communicating with each other and with government online. She said the number of people that do not use the internet is closer to 15 million. Imagine.

You now know what you guys are up against Weebley. Let Steve know he has to budget his time well, as he may get a call soon.
The cure for the UK’s ills may demand showing the logic behind it all . . . again and again:

Hi Doctor Sternum,
Message received Loud and Claire.
Andrew will be missed. Such a high energy level. I could match that, no probs.
According to Martha Lane Fox . . . that was upwards of 15 million adults! Good datasets on her for that little snippet. Each interface with the government seems to cost £66.66. A few of those and they could buy a netbook!
I am a little tied up at the moment, since Steve has me doing some mental gymnastics right now, but I need to go back to the CIA factbook and find out how many adults and retired people there are in the UK. I think there are a lot of people not online as a percentage of the total number of adults.
Maybe Agent Heggle and Lucy could help me here?

Hi, Doc/Agent Weebley,
Do you think and have you inevitably concluded that government pimps and hookers are not intellectually equipped to run a virtual administration where Advanced Intelligence and Present Production of Future InterNetworking Service Provision are Default Minimum Requirements so that Past Negative Destructive Follies and Current Conspiring Collapsing Control Infrastructures are not repeated in more Stupidly Childish Output instead of Fabulously Radical Content with Fab Zeroday Opportunities Freely Shared for Renegade and Rogue/Master and Mentor Use which can even be Unprecedented Abuse?
For if you know how to exercise absolute relative control of beings in their virtual phorm and environment, are reality plays just as a novel extension for live experimentation with boundless passions.
Hi amanfromMars. I have not really concluded anything, as no-one has said “off with his head” . . . yet. Well, a non-face card said it . . . but I didn’t think they meant it. Hopefully someone has a heart and lets me play poker with them. That would be aces.
This is currently a subjective issue, and one in which the James Burkes will eventually not be able to swallow any more shops.
This site has gone to number 1, then into minus figures . . . but no-one can understand why.
What’s my lucky number, amanfromMars?
Mighty impressive! Such big words, one can get lost in them!
Lost in the forest? I don’t think you are, Big Momma. I try to write from the heartwood.
Here’s one from the recent past I think you may enjoy . . .
